We encourage people to build on their skills and strengths so they can live as independently as possible.
Why choose us?
Our approach at Esteem Supported Living is congruent to the Government’s Care Leavers’ Strategy. As noted in the Department for Education’s Keep on Caring, care leavers generally experience worse outcomes than their peers across a number of indicators. Our mission is to ensure as many people as possible that come in contact with Esteem feel uplifted, supported and are not forgotten.
We have knowledge, experience and dedicated resources to provide transition support and life skill for care leavers. We have embedded policies and procedures that are regularly reviewed with staff and people that use our service to ensure that they have a say in what their care should look like.
Our highly skilled and innovative teams empower people to maximise their involvement and inclusion in their community. We use a person-centred care approach and individual evidence based, outcome focused assessments to make sure our support is designed to enable people to live the life they choose.
Understanding You
Whatever an individual’s background is, we know that with the right support, they can go on to achieve great things. We understand that the level of support someone needs is dependent on the individual.
We can support you if you are:
- Homeless (and are 16 to 21)
- Care leaver or looked after child (16 and over)
- Experiencing family or relationship breakdown
